This contemporary guitar man plays a copper guitar, with a copper derby resting on his head. He is sculpted by hand from one slab of white stoneware clay, as is his stool.

Once he and his instruments have air dried the piece is fired once, then hand then hand painted with various glazes and washes to bring out the texture and character of the piece. Then it is fired a second time to produce this classic color combination.
