This ancient copper orb is defined by a textured jack rabbit and fleur-de-lis handle.

The piece is formed out of one slab of white stoneware clay. The surface design is added at the leather hard stage and then bisque fired. Washes and glazes are hand painted to accentuate the texture and character of the piece and then re-fired.
